Artist's Entry Action List:

Step #1:  Submit your artwork digitally only through the form:

http://www.artimpactusa.org/golden-call.

Step #2: Pay the non-refundable $50 USD entry fee.

Step #3:  Wait for an email from the curator letting you know if your work was selected - either for the actual wall space or to be included in the digital presentations as a  "Notable  Artist."

The Notables, selected artists are not selected to exhibit in the physical space of Pepco Edison Place Gallery but will be included in the Golden Notables online exhibition. A digital projection presentation of their artwork will be shown during the Pepco Edison Place Gallery GOLDEN special events.  The Notables will have the opportunity to be included in the exhibition print catalog for $100 per full page and to also give their artist talk during the closing reception, May 30th within the actual DC gallery - or send a 2-minute talk video which will be played during the reception.

Step #4:  If your out-of-town artwork is selected to be shown in the gallery space you can ship the artwork to the address provided by the curator.  The Pepco Edison Place Gallery may not be available to receive the out-of-town artwork, so to prevent the return of artwork, the curator will arrange for a guaranteed acceptance location - to be announced in time for the on schedule installation of the artwork in the Pepco Gallery on May 1st.

Note:

Submit no less than two pieces and up to seven pieces of artwork for the same $50 entry fee.  Submit as many as possible to help the curator have a nice quantity to select from.  If you submit only two then you decrease your chances of being in the show if the two you submit are inadequate.  If you submit five or seven then your chances increase for getting one or more accepted into the show.  This selection announcement will occur by Friday, March 16th, 5:00 PM.  If your work needs to be shipped you will have enough time to ship the work.  The carrier of choice is www.shipnex.com.  They prove very good at handling artwork and getting the least expensive rates from the major carriers (DHL, etc.)
