Rio Sirah is a master artist, body painter, and muralist. He is famously known for his body painting on the 2015 hit TV show called Skin Wars Season 2 which is currently airing on Netflix.

Artist Statement

These works presented are entitled The Sonarvibilization Collection. Each piece was painted with my hands while moving to the motion of the music played by each artist. I took their music and mixed in audio clips of interviews that spoke of spirit, power, change, and information and played it as I painted. As an artist edutainment is more important than just entertainment. There are also videos of how I created each piece on IG: @riosirah.

I call this series The Sonarvibilization Collection. A lot of my art is inspired and powered by music. I can feel and see the spiritual influences behind music, vibration, and sound and this series is my interpretation of what those sounds look like. This is what Sonarvibilization is.

I want the audience to see and feel the joy and freedom I felt painting art this way. It is my belief that if you can put a pill into your mouth to heal you why can't what we hear and see do the same. I personally want people to view my art and feel the vibrations of joy and happiness strong enough to uplift their spirits into a state of healing for their mind and body.  -  R.I.O. Sirah
