This show conveys the beauty of sign language and visual art as alternative forms of communication.  The talented artists featured in this exhibition remind us that art is an empowering form of self-expression that connects us in our shared humanity. Their unique perspectives conveyed through diverse mediums are a testament to the limitless imagination of the human spirit.  We are honored to showcase these artists who wish are honoring the International Day of Sign Languages and the Week of the Deaf.  We all are highlighting the inclusive belief that art is a universal language requiring no words.

Komal Patel, our humanitarian sponsor, is a self-taught visual artist and author who leverages her background as an Occupational Therapist to advocate for artists of all abilities. Through Art and Ability, Komal strives to show that creativity exists within all people regardless of physical or mental challenges. Art and Ability is founded on this very concept and is created to promote artists with disabilities.

This Global Art Competition is an attempt to create awareness about the challenges and triumphs of the hard of hearing across the globe. Art with this topic in mind generates stronger awareness in people, that people with disabilities remain creative no matter the challenge.

Art and Ability and Art Impact International are proud to promote these extraordinary artists who broaden our understanding of what art can be. It is our hope that this exhibition will challenge preconceived notions about art and ability, while sparking meaningful conversations on empowering people of all backgrounds to share their creative gifts with the world.

Thank you for joining us in recognizing these inspiring artists. Your support for this meaningful event reaffirms that creativity can take any form when given the opportunity. By celebrating self-expression in all its diversity, we can achieve a more accessible, inclusive arts community.
