Artist's Bio

I was born in New Zealand and islands have had a place in my heart, in all their shapes and form ever since I discovered my heritage. I have been raised in North Carolina, so far from the ocean, but I'm going to a university that is right on the shore, so it's come full circle!

Statement

While boating on the islands my mom snapped this picture. I'd never painted with oils before, but I thought oils would work so much better. I'd never seen the sky and ocean so beautiful before.
