I am a research-based artist who gazes into traditional practices from the diasporic lens. I usually embed narratives of women's subjugation and find a gateway of liberation in a radical process of empowering the feminine. This conceptualized ambiguous framework and approach unleashes the universal truth of women in general. Besides the central piece Les Femme Intuition (Fire), most of the abstract works drawn are from a palimpsestic clay process deriving pastiches from empty urban spaces that are on the verge of gentrification. Obfuscating the landscape and portraiture, I universalize these common experiences, telling the stories of estrangement present in our everyday lives.
