Luna Al Safadi

The Endangered, Can Art Save Them?

An International Art Exhibition

(November 7 through January 8, 2021)

BIO

Kuwait based painter, Luna Alsafadi, has been honing her skills and discovering the limits of oil and acrylic paint since 2014. She gets her inspiration from her perception of everything around her, since weaving a story is what she's passionate about. She continues to explore her art style, however surrealism interests her the most. She likes to balance out details with some abstraction in most of her artworks.

STATEMENT

I'm not an artist by choice, in fact I tried to quit numerous times. But the more I fed that notion, the more urgent I felt to latch onto any canvas in fear of loss of identity. I tend to get too caught up in my vision of the world that I can't help but try to deliver the same reality to anyone who might comfort my loneliness in my perception. Art to me is the pain and pleasure of letting go of something, in the hopes of finding strength in vulnerability.
