My name is Camille Emblem and I am a North American from the state of California. I began painting 2015 after a trip to Oahu, Hawaii and currently, describe my style of painting as a "brut naive abstract expressionism" with an emphasis on rejectionism. Simply stated I an outsider, self-taught, artist for whom paints in the abstract to express my feelings and reject one style one painting style within one piece of art. The medium I work in is acrylic, water, or oil. Themes in my pieces are subjective about my adoration of love, nature, architecture, and multiculturalism.
My artwork is inspired by Hokusai, Picasso, Dali, Basquiat, Degas, Khalo, Kusama, Murakami, Warhol, and Disney to name a few. They all taught me visually how to express myself on canvas and make statements about the world around me with the strokes of a brush.
