I have been a glass artist since 2001 and a painter since 2020. I am a member of the Art Glass Association of Southern California and Studio 23 in Spanish Village, Balboa Park, San Diego, Ca. My work is found in homes around the U.S. and internationally, and has won awards at the San Diego County Fair and the AGASC.
ARTIST STATEMENT
Our world is in tough times. COVID19 is not as deadly, but it is still hanging around. Normalcy is beginning to show up yet we see more holes left by companies, restaurants, people, and feelings that used to exist, but no longer do. We are changed and cannot go fully back to the past. We are still trying to recognize that there is only one race- The Human Race. There is a fear of others and the future. The aim of my work is to explore light in the darkness. Are we brave enough to secure human rights for all? I hope the answer is YES.
