King of Cool
Jeff Litton is a visual artist from Arlington Virginia. He works in all mediums but loves oils for both landscape and portrait work. His work ranges from huge murals on the side of buildings in Seattle and Clearwater, Cruise ships in the Caribbean, and even castles in England.
"King of Cool" depicts two Cotton Club types from a Detroit bus station. Iconic in nature the paintings display is unusual for its neon backlighting that sets the "Mood for the Blues". "When the Fat Lady Sings" encourages viewers to look beyond the physical and feel the beauty from within.
