Born in Taiwan Taipei, I graduated Taipei National University of the Arts.
After I graduated from Tapei National University of the Arts Dance in 2009, I travelled as an exchange student for the Department of Queensland Technology. I worked with the Australian Dance Theater, Tasdance, and Chunky Move Dance Company as well as appearing on Australia's TV Show "So You Think You Can Dance." Since my arrival in New York in 2013, I have worked with White Wave Dance Company and Abarukas Dance. As a choreographer, my work has been shown throughout Taiwan. My solo dance work, Bluebeard, has appeared at the Reverb Dance Festival, Hunter College, and The Manhattan Movement Center.I am co-director of the dance company, Cross Move, where I maintain a busy schedule premiering new work for dance, most recently at the 92nd Street Y.
My painting is at an extension of the movement inherit in dance. It informs my use of lighting and helps me create unique stage settings. The act of painting can also be a part of my choreography.I create the feeling of movement in an otherwise static medium, capturing the flow of contours continually in motion. But painting is also a way for me to explore another world of composition.
