Statement

My painting is at an extension of the movement inherit in dance. It informs my use of lighting and helps me create unique stage settings. The act of painting can also be a part of my choreography.I create the feeling of movement in an otherwise static medium, capturing the flow of contours continually in motion. But painting is also a way for me to explore another world of composition.
