Pamela Meacher

The Endangered, Can Art Save Them?

BIO

A dedicated botanical artist and master watercolour painter. She had exposure to the profound mysteries and beauty of nature as a child in England. She studied ceramic sculpture in Montreal, oil painting in Ottawa, Life art studies in Toronto. Pamela honed her skills as a watercolour artist with a workshop with the late Jack Reid and one given in Jackson Hole, Wyoming with Carl Brenders.

Pamela has also written, illustrated and published three books two of which have won awards These books harken back to the Victorian genre of illustrated books that reflect the sensibilities of the Golden Age of childrens' books

STATEMENT

My call is deep my call is strong , it will not let me sleep too long. I love taming wildflowers to help others see and understand what is beneath their feet.
