The Endangered, Can Art Save Them?

An International Art Exhibition

(November 7 through January 8, 2021)

BIO

I founded and managed an award winning graphic design firm for 35 years. During that time I worked on my own art sporadically. Once retired I finally have the time to devote to making art to please myself rather than client based. Now I spend nearly everyday in my studio working in a variety of media.

STATEMENT

My most recent work are mosaics made from hand cast paper cubes which are then painted and assembled. With few exceptions I mainly produce portraits and figure studies. I enjoy combining the time honored techniques of paper making and mosaic with today's technology of digital photography. My mosaic seem to have two realities an abstract reality of color and texture when viewed up close which becomes a more photographic reality as you move and view from further away.
