Richard Michael Glick

The Child Factor

An International Art Exhibition

(February15 through September 15, 2021)

BIO

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from The Ohio State University. I have also studied at Accademia di Belle Arti di Perugia, Italy and Cite Internationale Universite in Paris. I have had showings in Columbus, Ohio and online galleries. My paintings are in Chicago, Northern Virginia, Miami, Dallas, Paris, San Francisco and New York City.

STATEMENT

What interests me is the process of layering materials to achieve a rich texture and depth on the surface of the canvas. From a distance, you will see the design-the shapes and colors-of the paintings. But as you move closer to the surface, one sees the layers showing through one another and the depth of the materials.

You are braver than you believe
Stronger than you seem
Smarter than you think
And loved more than you will ever know
- Winnie the Pooh

Untethered

Bubbles of light, no longer bound to Mother Earth, dance in joyous orbit, quietly venturing toward outer space.

Planet Power

Like the sweetest of roses just ready to bloom, the planets gather in a delicate bouquet, bringing beauty and serenity to the universe.

Coral Cluster

Optimism, coral, pink and red tones reign. Floating bubbles in this magical universe.
