ARTIST BIO

Norda Kittrie was born in Washington, DC. She studied Art and Design at the American University. Upon graduation, she moved to Mexico for 20 years where she specialized in abstract painting, sculpture, art education, and art therapy. She has participated and been awarded in juried exhibits in Mexico and the U.S.

ARTIST STATEMENT

They say beauty comes from a spirit that has weathered many hardships in life, yet continues with resilience. Currently, my work is about exploring color, simplicity, and movement, unbridled by figuration. The emotions evoked will be interpreted through the viewer’s own experiences.
