EXHIBITION THEME:

GOLDEN Juried Art Exhibition occurs during the month of May, which is officially Older Americans MonthThis theme encompasses not only American Elders but also the Elders of the Global Community, the Elders of the Diaspora. Artists are asked to submit art which reflects some aspect of the color gold.  Additionally, artists may pay tribute to the elders in their lives who have inspired them or helped them along the way.  This call is open to artists around the world, 18 years of age or older.  Hence, international artists are welcome to pay tribute to their elders as well.  All media are accepted, except free-standing sculpture.  All artwork must be hung with the Pepco Edison Place Gallery's Arakawa hanging system.   Click here to see the gallery hanging system:  http://www.artimpactusa.org/arakawa.  Arranged exceptions may be possible.

The purpose of the exhibition is to grow as artists, inspire the hearts and spirits of all those who view the artwork.  Brightening spirits, hearts and minds is the best effect of our artistic talent. - C. Goodridge, Curator

You have an opportunity to up your game in the investment of your art career.  Get help making serious strides in public relations, social media marketing, and community involvement.  GOLDEN marketing packages offer you the opportunity to take real action.  If you are selected to be a part of this exhibition, you will embark on a journey of single and group effort to be known and regarded. You may choose any level of marketing you wish during the run of this exhibition.

  3. The Notables, selected artists who are not selected to exhibit in the physical space of Pepco Edison Place Gallery, will be included in the Golden Notables online exhibition. A digital projection presentation of their artwork will also be shown during the Pepco Edison Place Gallery GOLDEN special events.  The Notables will have the opportunity to be included in the exhibition print catalog for $100 or $50 per full or half page and to also give their artist talk during the closing reception, May 30th.
