Bio & Statement
Mars Davis of the Washington DC metropolitan area is a self-taught visual artist who primarily works with acrylic, mixed media, and watercolor. Her creations can be found in private collections, books, and on display. From a young age, Davis began sketching but felt that color would bring the sketches to life.
My beautiful creations portray the brightly lit view of the world around me. I see people entranced with motion. I consume the various vibrant colors which exuberate from us all. I try to capture the beauty in the simple sights that captivate me. I see the color of movements and hear the voice of color.
