Through Al Hamad's eyes, COVID-19 is selective in how it chooses its victims, feeding off the weaknesses of human immunity. The pandemic has given an opportunity to Al Hamad to explore the process of natural selection. In many ways, the pandemic has had the potential to stop time as we know it and greatly affect our daily routines. It is similar to the effect of water slowly freezing into ice. "Selective" is an attempt to understand what has largely been incomprehensible especially as the amount of viruses that have affected human beings so far are 8 milliliters, or the amount of a teaspoon.
