Bio & Statement
I am fortunate I have the ability to tell people when asked my occupation that I am artist. A majority of the time I specialized in custom stained glass windows. Due to a neurological disorder I was unable to cut glass. I found a unique medium called Pebeo Fantasy. This artistic avenue has helped me in so many ways.
A company in France specializes an artistic medium Pebeo Fantasy. Within each color there is a hammered or honeycombed effect. I pour a color onto a black canvas; then another either color within or alongside. I tip the canvas then added another color. Sometimes it provokes an emotion or I start to visualize something or someone. What is sets this medium apart from others is that it is thick. Once the canvas is tipped some times this medium has a mind of its' own.
I have entitled my work, 'Seeking Redemption.' Our world, our planet will never be the same. People are looking for answers, solace, or be both.
