Bio & Statement
Anne Furnaris is a native of Romania (Southeastern Europe), the ancient mystical country of ballads and the earliest European civilization historically and anthropologically documented as the Cucuteni-Trypillian culture (over 40,000 years).
Pursuing her innate passion for the Visual Arts, Anne Furnaris studied at the College for Creative Studies, Detroit, Michigan. In 2000, she graduated with the Bachelor in Fine Arts. From the first year of the art college, Anne began painting and sculpting using Alchemical-Metaphysical and esoteric symbols, which essence originates in the Space-Time-World of the Inner Soul and Nonphysical Universe. For over 25 years, Anne Furnaris has initiated and promoted an Alchemical-Metaphysical Art of the Inner Soul, while every year her artworks have been displayed in museums and art centers throughout Michigan.
Within my Consciousness resides the Artistic Impulse to create a conscious bridge in between the Inner and Outer-Self of our Beings. As an artist, I cannot be bound by the traditional chains of Physicality of Life, or earthly dogmas of culture and social life. My transcendental artworks speak with the Tongue of Alchemical Gnosis that art in its essence has a Dual Nature. The dual nature of Art-Consciousness pattern has an external and internal substance-structure. By the means of external structure, I live in the Consciousness of the Physical Life, while by the mean of internal structure of Art, I do live in the Consciousness of our deathless Soul. The Duality of Art-Consciousness will transliterate the mental substance of the Mystery of Life.
