Konnor came to America in the 1960s during the "Cold War Era." His roots were in the UK and his family still resides there. His art was influenced by the styles and colours found in Pop Art and Abstract Expressionism. While the social movements of Feminism, Vietnam, and the Civil Rights Movements influenced his art in many ways he was educated in the beliefs of diversity, inclusion, and creative expression.
Konnor attended university and finished a PhD in social science. His iconic images are in demand due to their expression of people's worldviews and icon memories.
