Cheryl is a textile artist working in the area of quilts, wearable art design, improvisational and art quilts. Her latest ventures have involved textile art and mixed media presentations.

Statement

The Vessels Series:  Clay Treasures are a metaphor for humanity and the relationship between us and our Maker.  We are molded, carved and shaped for a purpose.  We are earthbound and made from clay to be used to store and amass the things that He has for us.  As we know it is not the vessel that is treasured, it is the gifts, and talents and the calls upon our lives that is what is valuable and treasured.
