Statement

I chose the phrase “Appreciate Your Surroundings” to represent my body of work because that’s exactly what I am doing when creating my images. Photography is a passion of mine and has been for many years. It's an outlet for me to release all stresses and become centered again. So many people go through life with blinders on, obsessed with their electronics and completing their daily routines like robots. By the time they look up so much has passed by, whether it be time, life or beautiful surroundings.

My desire is to draw the viewer in with my unique compositions and subjects, in hopes that the viewer feels relaxed and intrigued by the images I have created. I would like for them to use their imagination, come up with their own story or scenario of how or why the image was taken and enjoy.
